Anyway I have a website setup for assembling information on vulpines and just about anything that can be linked to foxes. A wikipedia we cannot edit, cannot view random pages, and cannot really browse around. Fantabulous.

You can edit it, I just have it set so I have to give people permission to edit it since I had some abuse from the korean spam trade. If it were set so that anyone who registered could automatically use it, it would have WOW crap up to wazoo, so I created a usergroup for people I approve to edit articles known as *gasp* editors.

The fact that you can't browse it is probably more of an issue. I just checked it out right now for the first time, and I can't figure out what to do. The main page has no links to anything that would let me navigate the wiki at all. No category pages, no suggested articles, nothing. There's the search form, yes, but I would have no idea what to search for, as I came to the wiki to learn new things. Searching for "fox" gives me tons of results, some of which contain useful information and some having no relevance whatsoever.

You could really do with some categories and category pages to help organize things. I can tell there's tons of good content there, but without organization nobody is going to ever see half the pages. It's like being given a book-form encyclopedia that you can't flip through page-by-page.

Organization is one of the current goals for the project, also I just updated it, so finally I was able to remove some of the stupid problems and add support for openid soregistration isn't even required to use the site anymore
