I was hoping we could get upt to all the way through the removal of one sock or more.

When I was but a little nipper, our school would regularly take us to the local swimming pool so that we could learn how to swim. The teacher had a competition - the first changed after the swim would get 5p, with which one could purchase a packet of Fives, so named for they cost 5p.

I never left the pool without a packet of Fives. The trick it leaving the socks to last.
