I have NO Idea how many One Piece fans are here or if there are any more than the one person who responded to me in my intro topic but I'll pass this along.

I'm going to give you all the info at once so forgive me if you all ready know, some people don't. I was talking to my friend Josh yesterday who was unaware of some of the important details.

http://www.onepieceofficial.com/index.html
FUNIMATION (NOT shitty 4Kids) is releasing UNCUT bilingual DVDs starting at Episode 1 in May. What does this mean? Ill post a Q and A of common questions just in case someone doesn't know or is behind on the details.

Q. Uncut for real? All the blood and hits intact?
A. Yep, 100% uncut. What you see is what you get. In other words: NO EDITS.

Q. How many episodes will be on a DVD at a time?
A. 13.

Q. Will it be Zolo or Zoro and Devil fruit or Cursed Fruit?
A. All original names will be on the uncut DVDs. This is included but not limited to:
Zoro
Devil Fruit
Marines
all original attack names
and other stuff I can't think of now

Q. What languages are on the DVD?
A. English (Dubbed by FUNimation obviously) and Japanese with English subtitles if you like.

Q. Will there be swearing?
A. Probably some, about as much as was in movie 8. Like the occasional damn or Luffy saying he's going to kick someone's ass.

Q. I thought they didn't have the rights to start at episode 1.
A. That's not a question... and yes I heard this too but apparently something happened and Viz gave up those rights.

Q. How much is this gonna cost?
A. Retail price is about $50... but fear not. I'm sure places like deepdiscountdvd and such will have them cheaper. Right now right stuff is selling it at $37.49

Q. I'm just gonna download it cause that makes me cool =D
A. Well good for you you anime stealing butthole.

I think that's it. Be sure to let me know if you have more questions. If no one cares, that's fine too =P
But I figured there had to be at least one or two OP fans here who might.

Big whoop. The much superior show, Watership Down: The Animated Series is still only availible in region 2, much to the disdain of me and like five other people in America.

and to your second sentence I would also like to say, "big whoop"

seriously, if you don't care don't reply. Is it that hard? I don't go into every topic I don't care about with that attitude.

What about Captain Smoker and Sanji's smokes? Those still gone, or what?
Is Captain Smoker too far ahead at this point? I'm not sure how far it all went. I'm at something like episode 190 or so. Haven't watched any in a long time.

Give it a month after its DVD release. I'll be able to snag it via torrent files. X3

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything or at least don't be obnoxious about it.

If it's dubbed by the same place it's still crap. They're the ones who replace good voicework and music with complete crap.

No edits whatsoever.

Yeah it's much better to support your favorite TV show by stealing it online than to go out and buy the product. Go you.

It's Funimation, not 4Kids, that's releasing the DVDs. FUnimation has had the rights to One Piece now for over a year. I feel bad for you if you're been missing their amazing dub on TV... especially NOW since freaking CN decided to put OP on hiatus

Anyway, they're starting at episode 1

Damn region codings. How else am I supposed to get my Hazel-rah fix? Surreptiously download and watch the animated movie that frightened small children and would cause crying at the merest mention of "rabbit fight" for years to come?

'Watership Down' was the middle-class South Cheshire version of 'Run Free'.

'Run Free' was magnificent. Nothing can compare to the scene in the swamp and All Those Dead Bodies Piled On Each Other.

Then the crows came.

Brilliant.
