What would you put in your minifridge?

What would you put in your minifridge?

Postby likeafox » Fri Jan 11, 2008 4:57 am

Everybody agrees having a minifridge in the bedroom/computer room is awesome. But what would you stock yours with if you had one? (if you do have one what's in it?)

In mine I'd have various drinks:
Cans:
- Canada Dry,
- Sanpellegrino sparkling fruit drinks, (various flavours: orange, lemon, chinoto);
- PC grapefruit drink,
Other:
- A&W Rootbeer,
- Orange juice,
- Water;

For foods:
- Some fresh fruit, maybe strawberries or kiwi;
- A thing of seafood sauce(the kind with horseradish in it) to eat canned fish with;
- Safeway select hot salsa.
- Some other more filling foodstuff, whatever the flavour of the week happened to be. Maybe sausage rolls.

If I had room after all of that, I'd put some glasses in there to keep cool for my drinks.

I don't have nor want a minifridge to be honest. Especially now in winter I don't think I'd use it much. If I had one I'd probably just keep various drinks in it.

Bekul - My alcohol of choice isn't beer.

If I had one at work it would be filled with Red Bull.

If I had one at home it would be filled with Smirnoff Ice.

Well, mine would be full of MDX if they hadn't &#%@ing discontinued it! :evil:
Who cares if its ingredients could potentially combine to form carcinogens? That certainly didn't take Fanta and dozens of other drinks off the shelf!
(Vitamin C and Sodium benzoate or Potassium benzoate can combine to form benzene. These are used in many drinks.)
Actually, I think they discontinued it because it wasn't popular enough. :cry:

(or in cases like
mine, a shaker or two may
yield the best result.)

I'd have to go with the following in mine:

Various deli meats and cheeses
Mountain Dew
Plenty of sweet tea
Some pudding snacks possibly

He said "I hunt for haddocks' eyes
Among the heather bright,
And work them into waistcoat buttons
In the silent night.
And these I do not sell for gold
Or coin of silvery shine,
But for a copper halfpenny,
And that will purchase nine.

Lingonberry juice.

It is delicious, I could live off it for ever.

There's a ban on minifridges in my uni's accommodation. However, mine would probably contain the following;

cider
fruit juices
grapes
chocolate
cheese (mild cheddar)
milk
cooked meats
Regards,
Pete.

If you can't go from the computer room to the kitchen then you don't deserve a cool beverage. When I had a mini fridge in college though it mostly had pop and water in it. Sometimes snack packs.

I do have a mini fridge (It's actually my fiance's - he brought it with him when he moved in) and there's just a bunch of various drinks in there.

Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
