A few things to clear up...

Apparently I have rubbed a few people up the wrong way these past few days.
I'm not rightly sure why, but I suspect some people are annoyed at my put-on ludicrous arrogance and general demeanour intended in the lightest of humour.

I'd like to remark that I didn't actually intend to offend anyone, and I'm sorry to those who felt somehow hurt by any part of the process... or indeed anything else I might do.

That said, I don't expect anyone to take anything I say all that seriously. Very little I do could be considered serious in any manner. I know from experience that I have (as any other person) very little control over who chooses to be randomly offended by what I do, as would anyone else in the situation. Afterall... I don't know any of you, let alone what your particular situations or sensitivities are in order to be wary of them.
All that I request is that I might be politely and objectively informed if anything I am doing continues to bother any of you.

So... is this alright with everyone?

If you have anything to ask then please do so, though I don't generally fulfill demeaning requests (except the time I lay down in a snowdrift in Canada in my underwear).

Unfortunately, to me, you come across as quite arrogant...and that's also when you're being serious. I can tell when you're joking, but it's also in your serious replies to other users in your threads that makes it seem like you're talking down to them.

Whether intentional or not, it's there. And I will reiterate: I can tell when you're joking, and that's not what bothers me.

I'm gay.
Understood.

Also, internet drama rules.

Soti, don't let anyone here bother you (even if you bother them). I have my enemies here (practically all of you), but you just have to be able to ignore insults and others feelings.

An old aquaintance of mine once said: "It isn't paranoia if they are really out to get you".

I've had a lot of people accuse me of "trying to act clever" by "using long words" when I was just basically speaking and typing the same way I have since I was a kid, not knowing of any difference. Arrogance is something that has been levelled at me most of my life and honestly, I don't think there is any point in even questioning whether it is justified or not. The fact of the matter is that I'm just trying to cope with people.... around people... and if they can find some way to read more into my words than I actually put into them, that is hardly something I have any say over. It isn't worth my getting stressed over... frankly.
If they honestly care enough to think that I'm talking down to them then they're overthinking the matter and frankly care too much about what other people say / think. When I genuinely talk down to other people, it becomes far more obvious than anything shown here.

That aside though, I'm curious for you to explain in more detail what ABOUT my wording displays the supposed condescension to you.
Is it worse to be as verbose as I feel and risk people assuming I'm trying to put on grandiose airs..... or is it worse for me to simplify everything that I do and risk people assuming I'm patronising them?

Perhaps, but it is necessary. People have issues with me and I need to resolve them peacefully.
It is one of the sad facts of life that clowns, much as they try to be funny, generally end up scaring people (especially children).

... That was a self-reference by the way, in case anyone mistook it for something else, or thought it was some sort of abstract reference to some other unrelated topic I've probably never even heard of.

Dang fekeal, why not just post the rainbow flag while you're at it?

It's not so much the way you word your posts as it is what you choose to say. Rather than making your opinion heard, you tend to go and use huge tl;dr posts to point out flaws in other people's opinions. Again, it's all a matter of opinion, no need to directly counter other people's opinions with reasons why yours is better.

Example:
Interesting way of putting it, though I wouldn't personally call it entirely accurate.
Also, the difference between you and a clown is that I have actually laughed at clowns in the past.

Guys... please quit the spamming.
The sooner I can make amends with people here, the sooner this thread will be over and done with. For now though, I'd rather it remained free of off-topic stuff.
Thanks.
