What's your accent in normal conversation? I'm sure we have all types here.
Me, I still have the classic Pacific Northwest pronunciation from living in Oregon. That's the accent that's known for being the most plain vanilla of any US accent. I have tried to keep it from being muddied by the local Idaho twang/drawl and the mumblytag favored by kids my age around here. Sometimes I slip into a sort of watered-down British clip.

I have a generaly northern accent, mostly because I lived in New Jersey from when I was about 6. I remember when everybody was confused on my bus when I said "Oh look, a quad" when I saw one on someones truck. They call them 4-wheelers here.

Whatever comes from growing up in Pittsfield, MA...Northern accent, maybe?

I've lived in Georgia for more than half of my life, yet apparently people can still detect an accent from when I lived in St. Louis, Missouri. Then again, it's not like I'm going to start slipping into "ya'll come back now, ya hear?" or anything, hehe.
