No living thing is immortal. We're all gonna die someday. It's a fact, deal with it. And what better way to deal with it than to laugh about it? Post the funniest epitaphs you have discovered, or come up with your own. And if you're gonna be cremated or something, just write it on a post-it note. It's what I'd do!

Example:
"Robot--rust in peace"
"Jonny yeast--pardon me for not rising"

who hasn't heard those before?

"underneath this pile of bones
lies the corpse of sally jones.
her name was briggs, it wasn't jones,
but jones was used to rhyme with stones."

that's a less common one.

Sparrow: "Soon to be ruler of whatever world comes after this one."

And not exactly an epitaph, but still to do with death, When my Aunt died she was cremated, and acording to her wishes the funeral place played one of her BeeGee's C.Ds while this was happening. Guess what the first song happened to be...

Stayin' alive,
Stayin' alive...

Even at the time, everyone a great laugh at that little twist of fate.

Best one ever in my opinion -

Spike Milligan - "I told you I was ill."

At least, that is what he is famously quoted as wanting inscribed on his tombstone. I don't know if it actually is!

I understood the english teacher one.

And yeah, the tombstones from BG be funny as well. my personal fave out of those is the one with the "trusting soul". also, if ya click on one of them some guy appears and tells you to quit. don't quit and he hurts you.
