My grandpa. (on my dad's side)

He's well.....Dead. He died yesterday of natural causes, and I forget exactly, but I think he was around 83, or something like that, so it's not that bad. He lived in Tampa, Florida, and the sad thing is, I barely knew him. My family moved down there for about 6 months once and I was around 5 or 6 and I barely remember it, though he did call semi-occasionally. So my dad's pretty stressed and all that other stuff that sucks, and I don't know when the funeral is going to happen yet. I just thought I'd let you know....

I'm so sorry for your loss, Vince. Please extend my condolances to your family. I'm sorry that you didn't get to know you grandfather better.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Sad. I know what you mean too. My dad has 3 brothers, and one died a couple years back. I had never met him. I still haven't met one, and the other I've seen 3 times. My grandpa on my dad's side I've met twice.

I'm sorry to hear that, and know how hard that is. We've lost both my mom's mom (1998) and my dad's dad (2002?).

Sorry to hear that dude, but you could look on the plus side that 83 is a very respectable age to get to.

I didn't really know my Grandpa either, not closely anyway as we never really talked one on one. But don't fill yourself up with "what ifs" about the fact that you didn't know him too well.

Way she rolls dude, the way she rolls.

Take comfort in your family and friends.

I'm not saying it's bad, what gave you that idea?

I give you my condolences as well. And I kinda know where you're coming from. I never knew my grandparents at all. The last of them had passed away while I was still a babby. At least you were able to spend some time with him.

I know you didn't, I'm just saying, that's what we did (or rather, my grandfather and uncle did).

May he rest in peace, Loosing a relative is hard especially the ones you never get to know better.

Glad i know my grandpa very well because i lived to his house for almost 14 years before we lost him in 1999 due to cancer..
