I bring pictures of things

Postby Tai » Fri Jul 13, 2007 12:33 am

So a few minutes ago I was cutting a jicama for consumption when I realized

you guys might be in this position and not know what to do!

Directions for cutting jicama:

Things needed:
Knife
jicama
cutting surface

1: place jicama on cutting surface
2: cut the jicama in tangent cuts as to remove the rind and root tissue, but not so much to waste the white flesh inside; picture included to see how to properly cut!

Note: The lime adds flavor, you may also try salt/hot sauce/chocolate

3: om nom nom

3.1: If you feel the need for a creative outlet, throw the jicama up in the air (not really) and slice with a large knife as to produce the following results

Image
(ps the thing at the top is supposed to be T for Travis or Tavis or Taris or Tai)

Additionally, I took pictures while on a trip or other to somewhere. They may look like crap but I was in a car going fast with an old camera ok

but the sights were so awesome looking I had to at least try. This pictures don't do the scenery justice, trust me:

And as I sit here eating my hick-ah-mah under the watchful eye of some unnamed plushie with his own sakkat

I can't help but post a picture of my shiny again

Keeping in line with the topic of food, there are some strange things appearing around my house (hand for size comparison)...

Also Fekeal asked me to post these

And to conclude this to-the-point thread, here's a picture of a chandelier from one of Sadaam's former palaces, perhaps his lampsona:

Thank you, thank you, I'll be in the IRC all summer.

You and your jicama. You're a loony, Tai. :P

I like the pics of the scenery. You said you took those from a moving car? I think they came out well. :D

I am forever greatful. Now when I cut my jicama, I will know how to properly undergo the task. Thank you for this selfless act to your fellow mankind.

Also, is that hair from your bathtub? And where the heck did it all come from???
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Empress Meep. DUH.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

"Jicama." There's a word we haven't seen in O&M but should.
