Fox and the Hound 2Does anyone know why the sequel doesn't pick up where the first movie left off, 'cause i was hoping the studio would finally give Vixey her 6 cubs!

Somehow i knew the book had something to do with it. However, my friend Darfix thinks the "Singin' Strays" idea was cheesy, and that Mannix never would have put it in his book. (And although the Dixie character is prettier than Vixey, she does act mean in some scenes. On the bright side, however, she softens up towards the end.)

Oh, well. Here's 2 fics on what the sequel should've been about. I'd send them to the studio, but i can't. One, because i didn't write them. And two, either i'll get a form letter or they'll just throw them in the trash.

I heard about this ages ago and decided I wanted no part of it. Luckily it's likely to be one of the last few stragglers as far as Disney animated sequels go. I haven't heard anything definitive but I would bet the sequel queue was closed off after Lasseter took over.p

I loved that movie, watched it over and over again when I was about six years old (and a little beyond that). Along with Disney's Robin Hood, ah such happy memories . Wouldn't bother with the sequel, just because they look like cheap imitations.X
