A lot of noise has been made about a product that can rival the iPOD, but I think this one might work!

Hmm, lets see...
  • Windows Mobile interface
  • forced use of MTP to sync (i.e. Windows only)
  • Can't play Ogg-Vorbis files
  • half the battery life of mine
  • they're lying about the space, which is quite surprising for flash storage
I think I'll stick with my Samsung YP-Z5, thanks.
  • Interface notably designed by the same people that did the iPod interface
  • 39-hour battery life (with latest firmware upgrade)
  • Plays MP3, WMA, and Ogg-Vorbis
  • Works as a storage device on all OSes, complete with access to music library
  • defines 1 KB = 1024 B, 1 MB = 1024 KB, and 1 GB = 1024 MB, like a normal flash device
  • Makes MTP available for those who prefer it

I voted Niether, cause I think I'll stick to my 5th Generation iPod, AKA the iPod Video.

Yeah, what he said!

(You can get a 30 GB full-sized iPod for the same price as an 8 GB Sansa e280)

I'd rather carry around a laptop. More uses. :)

I almost bought one once, but if I want to do it right it'd cost me a good chunka change...

...Go acetate discs!!

Anyway, I'll stick to my iPod(20GB), I don't have complaints or feel the need to change it.

Meh, I could afford both. I just choose to keep my battered old CD player. Better sound, and as I've bought 300+ CDs since I was 13, it's more cost effective. rechargeable batteries make it a steal.

And if the CD player breaks, who cares? The cost about 30 quid now for a good one. That's nothing.

And if my iPod broke.........well, I'd be crying like a little babby.

I don't like throwing $300 around. Although it WOULD give me the excuse to upgrade to the video iPod.

Not poor, cheap. There's a difference. In addition, like Rooster I have a lot of CDs I've acquired over the years, so I'll stick with the CD player.

*Ahem* $250.
