Only pics I have at the moment. They are brother and sister, German Shepard/Border Collie/Husky mix and definitely others we are not sure of. Mother was a Shepard and the father was a mutt of mostly unknown mix. Clearly each aquired more traits from one of their ancestors than the others.

Kizzy, the oldest one of the lot. She's 14.

Pluis (Fluffy) is 3 now. She's also the mother of these other 2.

Moppie is 2, as is his sister. The only boy of the gang.

Saartje, Moppie's sister. The both of them were actually born one day apart but we don't know who was the first one.

Arloest, I notice that "teh" Barkley has shining, pupilless eyes in every photo....

Wow everyone has beautiful pets. If you don't mind me asking, Arloest, is Lucky naturally three legged?

It's a trick of the flash. It IS the pupil that is shining, I believe. In the 3rd picture, you can see the iris.

Well, on a rainy day (I think) Lucky was run over by a truck. Her leg was so badly broken/swollen it had to be amputated. That's when we adopted her. (She was a stray, so was Barkley, actually).

That shows how truly amazing animals are. I remember seeing on TV a two-legged dog, that can still run and do everything a non-handicapped dog can. The two legs happened to be on the same side. Its interesting to think that humans could possibly have more trouble adapting if they lost a leg, than a dog or a cat would. Most pets who loose limbs do not have artificial legs or modified wheelchairs. It puts us into a different perspective.
