If my Copy and Pasting would work, I'd just copy the statement, Paste it here, and then quote it to Moddex, but I keep getting Debug mode when I try to copy and Past it here. So untill I figure that out, I'll just post a link. You can comment here.
http://s11.invisionfree.com/Moddex/inde ... c=34&st=30
Just scroll Down a couple of Posts and you'll find it. You'll also find MY post to it, and I'd copy that over too but can't.
Now Excuse me as I try the Copy and past on my beat-up Laptop
Now I see wh Moddex didn't bring it over, I can't copy and paste it -.-'

Holy crap that's a long read.
From the first ten paragraphs I read it seemed like a decent review of a con.
Read it all.
I definately learned something, espacially about that guy at the end who's all ambitious about transhumanition.

This con was about 40 minutes away from my house. Sadly, I didn't get to go. It's going to be at the same place next year, so I'll be there.
I found this whole thing very interesting. I can't form my own opinion without haveing being to a con, but I like to be open minded about such things.
The thing about the media, is that people notice the extreams. Everyone is ignorant. Everyone. The few people that understand the concept of furries wish dearly for others to see the innocence in it, yet they themselves know the [yiff] within the fandom. The state of mind in the world today, is that everyhting different is centered around some perversion. While we know that's not true, we also cannot simply ignore the existance of the sexual side of things. The majority will never see the whole story. Once an image is set, it's there for good. The problem is that anyhting about sex catches your ear and that's the thought you're stuck with.
I scrolled down to read the bit that you quoted niko.
My honest opinion on the "dark side" as you put it, is very open minded. I myself would try anything once. I donot think little of people for haveing some kind of secret pleasure. The only abnormal sex is a lack there of. The fact that this stuff happens is not to be looked down upon simply because it's different. Personal distast for somehting does not make it "dark" or "evil".
Hey, if anyone thinks they might go next year, let me know.

I call it the Dark side not because I think it should be looked down upon, but more because I veiw it as a darker side to the fandom. I Love the dakrness and all that it hides. I just call it the darker side because Untill I joined AlterNation forums, That side of the Fandom was hidden from me, snd the darkness can hide stuff, so I call it the dark side.

I disagree.
There's nothing abormal about asexuality. Even though it's unusual within humans.

When you think about it, it may seem "abnormal". But look at it on a big scale, you'll see that there are tens, maybe even hundreds of thousands of people who are asexual.

Great article, but where did it come from? A quick Google search of "Pittsburgh City Planner" got nothing. Well, nothing useful anyways.

I think the only abnormal sex is the one you can't have/do.

That was me who quotes CSI, and I'm still not sure of the exact phrasing.

I think it's something like 1% of individuals are asexual. Given that the monkey sphere consists of 150 people for humans, most people know approximately 1.5 asexuals. (The proportion is higher for autistics, though)
This means that there are approximately 60 million asexuals in the world.

When I said thousands, I meant millions, lol. My bad.
