surely you've heard of it, it's the biggest website there is! well, i decided to sit down and play on neopets.com. what happened: i got reported for doing exactly what everyone else does that hates the n00bs. i merely stated the unwritten rules of forums. EVERYONE does something similar on the secret forum sections.

this guy asked if anyone wanted to make a website similar to neopets with him. i said i did. just the other day, i asked him if he still remembered. i just got a 'Neomail'(PM) from him stating:

Quote:

You aren't supposed to talk about other virtual pet sites. sorry, i'm reporting you.

my impression of Neopets:

THEY SUCK POO

any questions?

I don't understand Neopets for the life of me and still don't to this day. I feel like I'd be playing in a damn Poke-land or something <img src='

Somebody made me register there once. I thought it was really really really stupid. It did have a snake clone game though. So that was the only thing worthwhile, of course there's millions of snake/nibbles clones out there.

Hey, I used to have a lot of fun there, I was one of the annoyers that went around posting nonsense on the rp board (e.g. THE SPOONS ARE COMING, RUN! or BURN THE LUPES)

I wouldn't be surprised if I'd been reported 100 times, yes for some reason I never had an account frozen. Got a few warnings though, one even called me disturbing. (such an honour to an insane maniac)

Still other than that the place sucks, I mean, there was this one monitor that always deleted my boards even if they weren't stupid, I eventually took to calling them the mad monitor... I got two warnings for this.

-Sparrow A.K.A Raven, God of Annoyance, Bringer of Chaos.

(btw, we didn't destroy any rps or anything, because of the way the boards worked then, rping was impossible. So we took it over and used it to post nonsense and play weird games like, inanimate object rp)

I tried it, couldn't understand what to do, turn off the email alerts and let the dragon guy die.

I tried it once, it was pretty boring. I was surprised to see Neopet toys in my local Toyworld a few weks ago. Just shows how big the internet has become.

Neopets did use to be fun, but it's getting really boring now that they're working all the bugs and glitches out of the site. And because of how big it is getting.

I've got the same attitude to it as I do with Pokemon cards.

Uh...just out of curiousity, since I have no idea what's going on...what are you all talking about? It sounds like some sort of virtual pet thingy kinda deal...

I know for a FACT that you've seen those NeoPets toys, midnight. We both saw them in FSK Mall, i think in hot topic oddly enough, and commented on them. Its the internet site where you maintain a virtual pet, yes, but now they have 'guide books' and portable tomagachi type things.

... the guide book for them scares me... it means someone had to put enough time into those pets to master it.
