I'm one of the very few people who got into RHCP through John Frusciante's solo stuffs.

The new song is pretty cool from what I've seen. The video is amazing though.

But personally, I prefer the album By The Way as it's less funky than Californication.

No, no, not Dani California, the whole album. I know that I'm obsessessed, but I'm not an obsessive person, it's just really good.

I don't like them.

I haven't listened to their new album yet, but I remember loving Californication when it first came out, especially Otherside.

In other words, I'll have to check it out, lol.

One thing I'm tired of is when the RHCP's continuously make songs about California. Yeah, sure, I love California, but not to the point where I base half my band's songs about the place..! O.0|l'
