Define Cynical Fan Forums

I rattled an email off to the Tech Support people, but since I know a fair few of you guys play SL, you might have run into this issue yourselves.<br><br>I can't start Second Life, and I'm getting the *GDI Generic* graphics card problem. I've already run through their troubleshooter, but no joy.<br><br>Anyone with an current-generation graphics card run into this issue as well?<br><br>*continues poking SL*<br><br>Thanks for any replies!

I'm able to run it just fine. If updating your video card drivers doesn't fix it, go to forums.secondlife.com and check out the Tech Support forum. I have a Second Life character as well... I wonder if I still have it installed...

Well. Now I'm depressed :/<br><br>Seems Second Life and ATI cards have issues that stretch wayyyyyyyyy back.<br><br>I haven't given up on SL just yet, but I'm a bit less hopeful after trawling through the Tech Support forums.<br><br>And with that, I'm off to bed.
