yeah I was stupid and completely forgot about a homework assignment I had due tommorow. so, please fill this out if you will.<br><br>first, I need your age to compare how different aged people think of the internet.<br><br>what do you think the reason most people use the internet is?<br><br>why do you think that?<br><br>what do you use the internet for the most?<br><br>thank you.

Porn.<br><br>3 - Because it's all you ever hear from the media.<br><br>4 - I use the internet mainly for keeping in touch with my various friends, and my favourite comics. Depending on the demographic in question, the most common use can be anything from the porn via socialising and information gathering/research (both personal and professional) to shopping. It all depends on the demographic. And no, I don't buy the stereotype that the majority of people who use the internet are within a certain demographic, either. It's just that the majority of those who use it for social purposes (ie the majority of those who are noticed using it) are within a certain demographic.<br><br>I most use it for socialisation purposes, though looking at artwork and shopping are also fairly common uses for me. In addition being a college student studying computing (software developement) there's the obvious accademic uses of it as well.<br><br>[And I also believe that you wouldn't be worried about people accusing you of using it for porn if you didn't use it for porn <!--emo&:mischief:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... schief.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mischief.gif' /><!--endemo--> ]<br><br>((In addition, you do realise that this by definition is a flawed survey, right? I mean, it's a self selecting sample which isn't likely to even be balanced in terms of demographics))

I am 32.<br><br>I think that most people used the internet to forward junk mail around.<br><br>Because I keep having to delete said junk mail.<br><br>I use the internet as a news source, a reference source, and as a communication system.
