I dont like to play favorites, all artists should be revered for their talents...

But I guess if I had to choose at this given moment..um..D.C. Simpson for drawing such cool characters and the current pencillers for the Spiderman comics and Ninja turtle series.

But thats just me...

Netraptor is a really good Sonic artist. D.C. Simpson is the best comic strip-style artist I've ever seen. The people at several mature (Not what you're thinking) message boards are pretty good.

I meant mature as in non-stupid. I didn't want to be taken the wrong way. And yes, we Americans do put too much idiocy in our censorship. Too bad, anyway.

Not really a fan of what most people would consider "art"...heck, I'm a cartoonist

But anyhoo, here are my artists (in no particular order)

DC Simpson (heck, I pretty much copied the guy to get where I am now ^^
Colonel Strawberry (an awsome artist, and a really freindly person to boot)
Cunningfox (There's just something about her art that I really love)
Octan (not just being an ass-kisser, I really like his work. Visually, and among cartoonists? Bill Watterson. (Kind of an obvious choice, I know. But he inspires me. I work with a brush specifically because he did.)

Among fine artists? I love impressionism. Particularly Monet.

And...I actually was heavily influenced by John Lennon's drawings. He had this loose, surreal pen-and-ink style. The poems and illustrations in "In His Own Write" and "A Spaniard in the Works," I believe, suggest that if he had not been a Beatle, he could have been the British Shel Silverstein. (I think Silverstein was American, wasn't he?)

Yeah he was. Dunno who he was though, but I googled him

Thomas Kincade... his art is so atmospheric, and it's indeed a good atmosphere.
