Today was a special day...very sweet.... Heh... Well now that the regular season is behind us...The slate is wiped clean. Yes we had a rough go of it this last stretch...yes Cleveland got Hot...REAL hot. But guess what... We won the Central yesterday and Ozzie decided to rest 6 of our starters for tonights game... And Cleveland still lost to us tonight 3-2.. (I take nothing away from Cleveland..they are challenging opponents and a great team and congratulate them on a great season...but if we knock them out of the wild card...so much the better.) Boston took it all last year... I have a feeling WE can do it this year. GO SOX! Viva Ozzie and the team! No offense to the White Sox, but I REALLY want to see the Indians over the Yankees in the playoffs, I hope they win the next two games and that the Yankees drop the next two against the [Red] Sox

Well...we are one step closer. I first want to congratulate Boston for a great season, they played exellent ball and had a great season. But as I have been saying... This year is our turn. *Shakes with excitement* I can only hope this is the beginning of more good things... Thank you Boston...you made it fun, You'll get em next year.

This series reminds me of Game 7 vs. the Yankees of two years back, where the [Red Sox] Nation got their hearts torn apart be Aaron [Bleepin'] Boone. I sported the same feelings last night, feeling pretty crushed as the Sox let us all down again, losing in the most painful way possible. At Home. Not to mention, a long day at work, and hearing shit from my parents at the dinner table as the last out was made, to sum it up I was not a very happy [not to mention tired] camper last night. I went to bed at 8:30 cause I was tired and had enough of that miserable day... I felt miserable, I wanted to cry [but didn't =P]. The last time I went to bed at 8:30 PM... Dude, I was probably still in middle school. A miracle considering I usually hit the sack well after midnight. Today, the feeling around here wasn't great, and for the liberty of putting time between me and this, brought some CDs and a Gameboy to work, to forget about this all. None of the customers I served even mentioned it really. Everyone wants to forget this. I do too, and now I'm glad I'll be catching a Greyhound outa this town heading for Central New York State first thing Monday morning.

I don't know what I can say to ease your pain Transaydor... I guess all I can say is I know the feeling and I know where you are coming from. We dont get many winners in Chicago, and rarely do we get to play Baseball in October. This year may be different. But I know what you must be feeling right now. One of the nicest things i saw yesterday was on my local news. There were Chicago reporters outside Fenway interviewing the crowd. As expected the crowd was quite dejected...but they looked into the Chicago cameras and told us "Go all the way." and "Best of luck in the World Series". That was very gracious on the part of Boston fans...and I for one was touched. But as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, Boston will be back next year, you guys have nothing to hang your heads about. You always were and always will be one of Americas great teams. I guess what Im saying is that if you need someone you want to talk too...lemme know..we can swap baseball memories or whatever. Chin up bub.

Well, I now feel closure knowing that the Evil Empire isn't going to go and win it all. It made me feel better hearing the Yankees losing Game 5. Now it's may the best team win. Admittingly, it's disappointing to see our Sox go [and to rather have seen the White Sox whoop the Yankees <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... s/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />], life ain't perfect. Besides, we won it all last year, and Chicago's got that, what curse is it again? Astros have _never_ won a world series since they start out as the Colts in '62. But I don't see it happening this year either, (after all, they're playing the Cardinals right now).
