Since it's been a few months since anyone posted to the old one...

S.S.D.D., by Alan Foreman... I don't know if any of you read Fur Will Fly, but imagine that strip with LSD and less censorship and you get the idea. And of course the occassional current events commentary-ish bit by the artist. I think it's completely awesome, others may have other opinions.

Not appropriate for younger audiences do to excessive cussing and sexual humour.

http://www.poisonedminds.com

I especially liked this one, but that's just my sick sense of humour:

http://www.poisonedminds.com/d/19990201 ... br>
I'm actually suprised SSDD isn't better recognized... it dates back to 1998 and has guest strips from the likes of RT Matheson in it's archives.

And then there's everybody's favourite amnesiac kitsune:

http://foxtails.comicgenesis.com

Best one of this strip, in my opinion, is actually a guest strip...
http://foxtails.comicgenesis.com/d/2005 ... br>because those of us know this strip know that Miyo has absolutely NO idea she just committed an insanely large social blunder.

"I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies"
- "Holiday", from Green Day's "American Idiot" album. Also a good way to describe my political views. What, me cynical?

SSDD is bloody funny. And it's one of the very few cartoons with british humour! I smegging love it!

Anyways, here's my recomendations. I assume I don't have to mention the obvious ones like CTR+ALT+DELETE, Freefall, Kelvin and Kell, and Penny Arcade?

Alpha Shade Is one of my new favourite comics! Absolutly stunningly done, twisting plot and amazing artwork.

By The Saints is also good. Not inked but done so well that you'd never notice. Oh, and you have to be able to read Scottish accents

Faux Pas Dunno why I put this one down, you'll all of heard of it. But if anyone hasn't, then go there as it's frikking amazing! Foxes!

Roomies for some reason, won't let me link the mainpage. Huh. Nevermind, this cartoon is absolutly amazing! Flinthoof is a tre funny guy.

The Bohemians. I can't remember where I saw this first. About a group of freinds that frequent a coffeeshop, but funnier than the other group of freinds that frequent another coffeeshop.

The Foxfire Chronicles is absolutly the best story I have ever heard! 5 strangers get kidnapped by the army and turned into wolvesoldiers! Then they have to escape! Brilliant!

Walking Is Still Honest is still good, but I get the feeling the artist is losing intrest in his strip. The earlier stuff is amazing though.

Superosity I can't even begin to explain this one. An idiot and a talking board and an angry guy and a movie star turtle and time travel and alternate realities and a fat rich kid. Despite all of this it all fits together nicely.

You Damn Kid! YDK is a hilarious comic about life in the 50s from a kid's perspective. It's very non-Leave-It-To-Beaver. The whole neighborhood is really dysfunctional.

Achewood Achewood is a wonderful strip. It's very quotable.

Dinosaur Comics Despite using the same pictures in every strip just with different text many strips will make you laugh as T-Rex applies scientific theories to his life and Utahraptor debunks them. Also pretty quotable. Curiosity SATISFIED.

Newshounds Dogs and a Cat woprking at a TV station.

Exterminatus Now Sonic style strip that has a lot of really good strips. Namely one involving ophan blood and how difficult is it to remove from a hat.

Cat and Girl Musings on life. It makes you seem smart for reading it. Includes races to the upper-middle class (Grad school is cheating)

Sore Thumbs gaming political comic about a Christian conservative running a videogame store with his very liberal sister.

I Drew This. At this point in time you either read this or you don't because i'm sure you've seen it.

The Bunny System Rabbits and Squirrels and violence.

The Unfeasible Adventures of Beaver and Steve Beaver and Steve go on adventures (unfeasible ones).

Edible Park Sort of like Far Side.

Punks and Nerds I just found this through VGCats today and laughed at quite a lot. Another gaming comic. Kind of mature.

Perry Bible Fellowship Another Far Side like comic that is famous throughout the internet.

VGCats Gaming and cats! Hooray.

Fuzzy Things Furry comic that hasn't updated in awhile.

Vinci and Arty Cute strip using lots of puns.
Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

Newshounds - what everyone else said.

I Drew This - political comic that's often funny even if you don't agree with it, a rarity in political comics.

Tales from the Mynarski Forest - about a devious but sometimes-not-too-bright vixen and her jumpy (ha!) rabbit friend.

Woods for the Trees - I'm afraid there's no URL for this just yet, but the strips have been posted here. It's about the goings-on of an English farm and the nearby woods.

Kevin and Kell - although it gets pretty cheezy later on, it's one of the funniest strips out there.

Freefall - an arrogant commander, a wannabe criminal mastermind, and the world's most incompetent pilot. And that's just Sam.

Neko the Kitty - introduced to me by the infamous "that-guy-down-the-hall," and the edgiest comic I've mustered the courage to keep reading.

Faux Pas - amazingly well drawn though the storyline tends to lag at times.

I'm sure I missed one or two. But meh, it's late and I'm tired.
