Video gaming, RPG playing, CCG playing, and fanfiction writing.

Basically, I'm so geeky I make Stephan look normal. Observe:

Good evening, gul azan, thar lo, 'quel undome, Vina naistri, bwael tangisto, bensvelk thurkear, shorah, nuqneH, hamha, kuut ajahehk, and weet olodadw to you all.

That's basically a greeting in common, dwarven, D&D elvish, some other elvish, Hylian, Drow, draconic, D'ni, Klingon, Ham-Ham, Al Behd, and Dinoese.
Well, let's see here:

I'm a writer, currently working on a series of short stories that could congeal themselves into a novel.

I'm an FCC-licensed amateur radio operator, and a member of Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES), an organization that assists inter-departmental and distance communications during disasters and emergencies.

I've become quite addicted to Second Life (www.secondlife.com), and I'm in the process of building a new furry hangout in-game.

I have several other slowly-progressing projects as well, including a web radio station, several websites, and some other stories I want to finish writing.

I used to work as a computer technician, but the company I worked for went out of business, and I'm tired of fixing problems for stupid users, so that'll likely become a hobby too.

Outside of computers, I'm an active member of the furry community, and I usually go to cons/large furmeets about once a month. I also go to a lot of babyfur meets in addition to regular furry gatherings (sometimes both in the same weekend
). I have a wonderful boyfriend named Andrew (aka Dobie), and he & I do a good bit of travelling together. I love to sing, but I haven't done it with a band for years, so my voice is a bit out of shape.

I think that covers just about everything

Well, I've been working on a novel of sorts lately. No, "novel" isn't quite the right word for it. I've developed an entire fiction, starting at 2006ish and leading up through around 2150, when my "novel," The Zephyros takes place, about a century after the third World War.

I'm also working on creating a constructed language, currently called "Zholec." This is a language that will get used in my fiction eventually.

Beyond that, I am considering producing a weekly political "podcast." I've already started to draft out the general format. If I go along with this, it would basically be a summary of the week's major political news stories, followed by a (likely scathing) short opinion piece.

I've also begun to learn Blender, an open source 3D modeling and animation program, which can yield results similar to those of 3D Studio MAX.

Also, I'm involved in the campus ACM (American Computing Machines) club, which is running a programming competition for local high school students.

And, I'm working on a few websites. Some for money, some not. In fact, I may have another O&M related site finished soon...

Also, I've been slowly developing my drawing skills. Very slowly, but they're developing!

And that's about all.

I play video games, mainly. I used to write, but I don't do that enough anymore. I used to RP, but I don't do that enough anymore. I used to read, but I don't do that enough anymore. Despite all the myriad of activities I enjoy doing, I'd say right now my hobbies have somehow filtered down to video games and internet forums. *sighs*

Anthony, I think it's "nuqnEH."

I have traditionally had video/computer games as my prime pastime, but I'm giving them up for Lent for the second year in a row. Now it's mainly word puzzles, reading, movies, comics, and forums.

Outside of the Internet, I generally play a lot of Pokemon when I can. Not for the kiddie value but because it's a very good strategy game. Like a very large and complicated game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Online I do mostly forum browsing, Chatting with various AIM/MSN/YIM contacts (NOTE: I encourage people interested in me to give me a buzz on one of the messengers. I don't bite, and you're a lot more likely to get a meaningful conversation from me than if we were in an IRC room. However, I don't accept anonymous messages on any messenger.), IRC chats when I can get around to it, playing Doom, Super Sonic Doom, or one of the many emulators I have.

That's what I get for counting on the editors at Disney Adventures from the early '90s.

I play magic the gathering. I never got into the other games though.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.
