There is a moth on my computer screen!

I don't know how he got inside and I'm very much against killing any animal (I even avoid ants if I notice them), so here he stays. This little critter seems very much unfazed by shifting windows and circling mouse action under him. You can see the mouse cursor under his almost transparent wings actually.

I love the little guy. I'll call him...dunno, anyone got any suggestions (the more majestic/zany the better)

Anyway, I don't know why I thought I should say this but it's ingrained in your memory now, so enjoy.

I have an idea for a name:
Lunch

Sorry, sorry. Just kidding.

Although, if I recall correctly, moths have a lifespan of about 48 hours. So don't go getting too attached to your domesticated insect.

well if you want to get him out you cant take the cover off the monitor it should not be too hard but if you can see his shadow on the screen I think he is trapped in the screen itself and I have no idea how to get him out of that.

call him chuck!

No it's not. You're probably thinking of the similarity to the Masonic compass (symbol of the Freemasons, many of whom were also Illuminati), but it isn't that either.

Here's the compass, for reference:

No, the Freemasons. The "stonecutters" was, essentially, the same thing, but in the realm of The Simpsons.

I could launch into explaining the history of the Freemasons, Knights Templar and Masonic Lodges, but I've already got a headache.

While I'm at it, what's an Illumnati? Conspirists? I know of the card game (found out when someone suggested an O&M card game) but...

...and the answer to the question in your minds is "That one you threw at the dumpster the other day. I'm trying to sue for property damage, but I don't know what amendments cover property damage and lawyers cost a bundle. Besides, you'll probably countersue once you fall down the hole I use as a summer home".

The Illuminati (from the word "illumination") were a group, composed mainly of scientists, that opposed the Catholic Chruch's heavy "anti-science" view around the time of Galileio. Many of them hid within the Freemasons, who are at the center of many conspiracy theories. Steve Jackson Games created the Illuminati card game, a game based on conspiracy theories. However, the conspiracies from that game are actually closer to those commonly associated with the Masonic Lodges of the Freemasons. Illuminati probably was a better selling name than Freemasons.

I get bugs on my screen too sometimes, it's fun to make the part where they're on flash and go all crazy colours to get a reaction from them.
