Reese's are "cups" of chocolate about 7 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height. The outside of them is chocolate, and the inside is filled with peanut butter.

Hersheys are essentially flat bars of plain chocolate (though there is an almond variety) that can be broken into bite-size bricks.

This sounds like the sort of thing you might be able to get a grant or scholarship to cover, since it's for educational experience. There are non-profit organizations that specialize in funding for these sorts of things (at least in the States), and if you fill out the right applications you might be able to get the cost covered by them, especially if your school transcripts are good.

Something to think about, I guess.
