Do not play the latest demo disc's "Viewtiful Joe 2" demo, as there is a very nasty bug. While I haven't had it target me personally I have a friend who it has happened to, as well as a <a href='
http://forums.gaming-age.com/showthread.php?t=23889' target='_blank'>full forum thread</a> to back up the proof. Anyways, to make it short, if you get to the save point, the game formats your memory card. I don't know the exact specifics, but my theory is that the game tries to access your memory card but such features for saving are not implemented. The game glitches and the memory card takes the fall.<br><br>UPDATE: Seems that the latest copies of the disc have the demo omitted, but I still advise caution. <!--emo&:P--><img src='

A guy down the hall had that...he'd invested around forty hours in GTA:SA when he put the disc in. He was almost crying. I'll admit it: I laughed. Hard.

Speaking of GTA:SA, also watch out when playing it on a very old PS2. My PS2 couldn't read the dual layers right and the laser lens kept hitting the disc effectively scratching it up.

How old is old? The first ones, the ones with quieter fans, the new thin ones?

Mine was the dreaded SCPH-30001 model, which is prone to the disc read errors and stuff. It was bought like the December after it came out.

If the disc affected anyone, <a href='
