Yes. Backup your bookmarks folder somewhere on your computer. (When you re-bookmark them that is.)

I always save links I want to keep in my own HTML document and keep it with me. That way I don't need to rely on the bookmark implementations in any of the web browsers. It isn't that hard to copy and paste a URL into a text document, and an HTML document is not much more complex than that. As a side benefit, I can take backups of that document anywhere, on a floppy or a CD, and use my set of "bookmarks" anywhere.<br><br>Because I have a homepage, I can also upload it there from time to time, so I have someplace to fall back on even when I can't use a floppy or CD... and if I can't get to that, then I'm probably not able to go online to any of the other links anyway. <!--emo&:)--><img src='

I use Avant Browser; it's based off of IE, but takes care of many of the annoyances that IE had. Plus, it adds some nice features.<br><br>I have FireFox, IE, Opera, and Netscape all instlaled on my computer, but I rarely use them.

damn [oh my!], I hate when that happens. if your computer ever locks up or anything, and you have a netscape affiliated browser, it wipes the bookmarks. they should really fix that bug. like everyone else says, keep an exported copy of your bookmarks.
