I seem to have trouble logging into the chat. I did it yesterday, no problem. Today the computer is telling me that i have to respond to ident requests. to every indication my computer is set up to respond to such requests.. any ideas?<br><br>PLEASE don't technojargon me.. i won't get it.

I was having problems with it last night too. Firefox kept giving me Page Not Found.<br><br>In the end I just played Doom: Memento Mori. If it's up tonight then I'll be there at some point, likely after 8 PM EST.

Ah, Main Server musta went down again, this happened a couple of nights ago...<br><br>Just switch to another server in that case. type /server nl.acidchat.net OR /server manc.acidchat.net. Try that and see if anyone survived.

It's called a netsplit. As Miles said, it happens when a server goes down. Just switch to another server.
