What do you think? I think it's a possibility, but I'm not quite sure yet, myself.

I said yes, I do believe in them.
I also believe in psychic...ness.....(not that fake magician AKA ILLUSIONIST crap, something more like gypsies...but not current gypsies)
And if there were a poll here that asked if you were crazy, I'd answer that I was.

No, I mean seriously. Do you, or do you not believe in ghosts? Whatever the answer is, please explain why.

I am Henohenomoheji.
I am a shadow.

(5 points to the one who gets the quote)

Edit: Oh, you actually wanted me to be serious... okay then...

Yes, I believe in ghosts, if for no other reason than once you become one you can go around peeking in the gi--er, I mean, it's fun to believe in them (which is why people believe stuff like religion and stuff).

I also hope to temporarily become a ghost after I die, for about a month or so while they try to figure out where to put me. I also plan to laugh hysterically at them while they do this.

It's a lot more fun to believe that my computer is possessed when the mouse moves by itself than it is to know that there's a hair in the lens.

This is a wacko theory I cooked up. Since I have limited experience in this feild, I have absolutly nothing to back it up, but I think it's possible.

I happen to believe in reincarnation. I also believe in the existance of God and heaven. I intially believe that the term "Hell" in the bible is algorical for "reincarnation". You soul continues to be reincarnated until you get it right and can go to heaven.

The soul is an interesting thing. I believe almost all living forms who can feel basic emotions have a soul. The soul is really the sub-conscience you that you never really get to know. It's got a mind of it's own, but it acts as more of a spectator then anything else, other then it's the backbone of your own existence. It's much wiser beyond our comprehension.

Since I believe in the human soul, I always thought that the restless, those who aren't willing to accept that they died or felt they weren't ready to die, would, you know, kind of stray from wherever they're supposed to go. In my case, they would keep themselves from reincarnation.

In fact, I even had a theory about that. When sombody died and supposedly became "reincarnated", their soul would reincarnate, but they would leave behind a sub-conscience shadow of their self behind; the personailty so to speak. If you happened to see an appariation like this, where it just smiled at you, and disappeared, then maybe it was that shadow. It would be sort of like splitting in half; the energy of the soul would go on to form a new life, and the shadow may stay here or do someting else. I'm not sure what. It may even be only a rare occurance.

I read a book over the summer entitled "Restless: A Ghost's Story" by Rich Wallace. It deals with the theory of reincarnation and how the universe works and stuff like that. It even helped me devise my "soul-splitting" theory. Pretty awesome book. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, I reccomend it; It's pretty entertaining and pretty well-written.
I don't really have any reason to believe in ghosts, but by the same token, I have no reason not to believe in them either.

My mother grew up in a house that was haunted. My grandfather didn't believe in them until after he moved in there. He is one of the most skeptical people i know when it comes to these things, too.

There have also been strange occurances around my house after my grandmother passed away... strange inexplicable smells, certain lights being turne don or off... or after havng not worked for years suddenly turn on and stay on for months.

Meh, i have no belief in God or an afterlife. I believe your afterlife is determined by your beliefs in this life. If you believe in reincarnation, heaven/hell or nothing than you'll get that. I don't mind religion, people can practice it all they want, just don't force your beliefs onto others, people have free will after all.

Ghosts, i couldn't care less. They exist or they don't, i don't care.

I am a logical person; I do not believe in ghosts or God. I used to believe in God, but then...well stuff happened and we stopped talking. Before that, I always couldn't see how there was a god, but neither could I sewe how the universe began, so I went with the most comforting thought. Now I'm a humanist, which is more moral than anything else.

Anyhoo..ghosts? Nope. Soul? Nope. I mean, I don't wanna tread on anyone's toes, but I just don't believe in them.

No I dont believe in ghosts. Im a born again Christian.

Tilitha I can assure you that the term Hell IS NOT an algorical for "reincarnation" in the bible

As for I believe almost all living forms who can feel basic emotions have a soul. The Buble does not say but we can always hope.

Unfortunately, once you died her that is it you either go to Heaven or Hell. And the ONLY what to get to Heaven is to believe that Jesus Christ dies on the Cross for our salvation and that in no way can we get to Heaven on our own power.

Ozymandias you say you are a logical but you dont believe in God. The sad fact is there is no other logical explanation to the creation of the universe than that a god created it.

Ok Ill get off my soap box now. Oh by the way any of yall want some this soap?
