I hate The Beatles.

There's a good reason a lot of their songs aren't that amazing. They spent a long while writing 4 songs a day because that's what the record company said they had to do.
How do you define writing? Sometimes they spent weeks or months on a song or album, especially from Revolver onwards when they gave up touring and had the luxury of fiddling with stuff in the studio. Ringo almost didn't want to record after the breakup because he thought months of studio time was the norm.

oh yeah, Madonna and stuff are so high quality. ;-) Listen to some Grönemaier, Rammstein, Toten Hosen, (for those who like them: Tokio Hotel), Scooter, DJ Tomek, Polarkreis 18, Die Prinzen or just Wagner, Schubert, Schuhmann...

but a) Madonna and stuff is high quality and b) the rest of the stuff you listed is weird european genres, therefore weird.

Early on in their career they literally shit out a whole song in a few hours. This is taken from something said by Paul McCartney on the Love DVD.
