Lots of snow here now, and it's still falling.

"...If you don't like the weather, wait 5 days and it's almost guaranteed to be different."
That's sort of like what we say here, only it's more like "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. If you still don't like the weather, wait some more, it'll grow on you. (Wait, I'm thinking of the moss...)"

Also, the snow was meek and hasn't been sticking (aside from what was already on the ground.) That six inches of snow they predicted landed mostly as liquid sunshine. (That's what we call rain. Is there any other form of sunshine?)
When the sun actually does come out around here, there are mass panics. People think we're being invaded by aliens or something. Having vacationed in other places, I'm able to reassure them. "No, that's called the sun. It's what powers weather."

We got some snow yesterday.

3-4 inches in one shot...and 100+ accidents on highway 169.

Welcome to Minnesota!

Taken out of context, that statement is hilarious.

nd we're supposed to get up to six inches today. I'm not seeing any snow coming down at all. Stupid weather forecasts.

Blargh. We've had quite a weird snow here. Yesterday (Sunday) we got a foot or so during the first half of the day...plows couldn't keep up, so we just drove right through it. (That made about 20 inches total piled up on non-plowed areas.) Then last night for some reason it warmed up and half of it melted...so now everything's flooded and covered in 10 inches of slush. I feel like I've been cheated. :(

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

My ninja snow is gone, too. Been replaced by wind. Worried that I'd hear a branch fall through my windshield and set off my car alarm during the night. Didn't happen, though I did hear some loud bangs from falling branches. Supposed to have an even bigger storm coming in with even more wind. Fun.

In my whole life, I've had just one white Christmas. It usually just rains here.

You're younger than I thought you were...
I've had a good handful of Christmases with snow, but I usually get rain, too. As I said before (somewhere) our winters consist mostly of nine months of rain.
