No, it's a lot more expensive in the long run.
Not true. My Stratocaster is 20 years old. Can you see these games being around that long with the same controller?
Nonono, you play Frets on Fire with a standard computer keyboard. You could argue that that isn't free, because you still have to buy the computer and the keyboard, but most people who play Frets on Fire haven't run out to the store to buy a computer just to play the game.
So My suspicions are confirmed. I am lower on the social ladder than a geek. I am so unpopular and hated by everyone that even retards get to point and laugh at me.
thanks roo.
Err, I'm pretty sure that's not what he meant...

o.o calling someone not cool enough to play the guitar is denying the vast genres of music that guitar is in. Said people probably don't consider folk singer/songwriters cool, and yet they make money and said people do not.

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Learning curve is wonderful! And your gaddarn E-strings don't break! (I have a guitar, but the game is fun, and I really need to go get my THIRD E-string this year. Mine is rather old, doesn't have all the nessecary hookups, and the E-string always breaks no matter how tight it is.)

Oh yes. :P

I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

:( BB, that would be a lot funnier if your G string broke instead of your E string. my strings have only broken when I first got it, and strummed too hard. I guess it may have to do with I use my fingers rather than a pick. it's time I replaced my strings anyway <_<

I break the high E about once a month. Why? Because I'm left-handed, but the guitar I play is strung for a rightie (it was passed down to me). Therefore, when I strum down hard, I hit the most fragile string.

OK. pants it. I lied. It's drum and bass. What you gonna do?

There's a really simple solution to this...

If it's "Get a leftie guitar" you wouldn't be the first to mention it. I can't afford one. If it's "String the strings the right way" neither the bridge nor the nut can fit them (I've made an attempt). If it's "Learn to play right-handed" I'd rather not learn from the start again.

I was gonna say string the strings backwards. But since that doesn't work...

Why can't you sell your current guitar and buy a lefty? Are they more expensive?

I could (it's a Fender acoustic worth over $1000) but it 's been in the family for a while and it was given to me with the assumption that I would keep it.
