from what I've heard of the Burned Furs they weren't concerned with that, just the blatant amount of easily accessable porn.

I've only seen two CSI episodes, the furry one, and some Cold Case Files episode where this guy killed his two friends because they found out he became a spy for the government and he wasn't being arrested because he helped them get information on JANE which was a codename for a group of people who did illegal abortions. I later found out JANE was real so I'd say that you can trust CSI stuff is real, but probably not the most accurate thing.
Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.
<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

Face it, if you're part of a fandom that includes people who wear fursuits in public (not just conventions, I hear) or role-play animals online and stuff, you can't really get away with taking yourself too seriously.

BTW, I've heard the CSI team have a general tendency to end up investigating in kinda sleazy places. Is that more or less true?

Actually, the Furry Hetnai movement is an entirely different movement, some people follow both, but most don't.

Anyways, the "Burned Fur" people lumped the two together.

To tell you the origine of Furry Hentai, it would be rather profane, but it actually has more to do with bipassing porn laws than any "fettish" like people imply. Talk about stupid. To go into detail would bring in a lot of profane words to the topic that I would rather not.

The CSI team tends to end up investigating unusual circumstances, sleazy or not. You have to say that Furrys are unusual. They're a following by excentrics.

In something somewhat related, I unearthed this nugget [.wmv, 50 secs] whilst browsing LJ. ('ey, it's been a slow day, a'ight?) Apparently, someone told Dennis Miller of a recent Furry convention. His words aren't too bad, compared to some other things one could have said.

Eh, while I'm news mode, look at this article about the hunting ban in England, over at the BBC. Although it doesn't really mention it in the article, this picture and caption within is interesting:

Quote:

Anti-hunt protesters dressed as
foxes for a demo outside court

Now, people in fursuits is one thing. They seem to find me.
