What y'all look like

Yeah, I find Harper more motivated and competent, but I also find he's going in the wrong direction (i.e: more conservative), which I don't like. I do agree with him more than with the other parties on a couple of issues, but for the most part, I'd rather the Liberals. They just need the occasional boot in the ass to remind them that they can't get too cocky.

Well, let's just say that he's more of a fiscal conservative than you'd think, based on the party he aligned with. On that front, the Conservative Party of Canada is a joke (all the major proponents for fiscal responsibility left when the Alliance assumed that name by swallowing up the Progressive Conservatives, but that's enough of a history lesson for now).
Sowwy.Guys this isn't a politics topic hush =(

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

That doesn't account for why I see greater proportions of (apparent) females almost everywhere else on the Net.The internet itself is disproportionately male. Message boards simply reflect that fact.Yay, FT is F! As it happens, I was thinking yesterday about how strange it was that Define Cynical was more disproportionately male than any other forum I know. O&M seems pretty unisex in appeal to me.
Cameron: Judging from your photo, you'll have to wait until maybe 2028 to run for President.
Arloest: You're still hot.

You wouldn't want to elect me president anyway-I'm much more conservative than the rest of you guys. Besides, I couldn't run against Llewellyn!

I don't really know how to put this, but on many forums (think GameFAQs), people pretend to be female to get attention. There's a less-than-appropriate way to put that into 2 words, but let's stay away from it.That doesn't account for why I see greater proportions of (apparent) females almost everywhere else on the Net.The internet itself is disproportionately male. Without pondering what the two words might be, let me say that I have little reason to doubt those females. They tend to identify themselves as wives, fiancees, and mothers rather than tempting targets for flirtation. They don't call much attention to their femaleness, and none of their stories sound fake. I've even had occasion to meet some of them.I don't really know how to put this, but on many forums (think GameFAQs), people pretend to be female to get attention. OTOH, some females pose as males online so as not to draw unwanted attention from lovestarved geeks. But I'd be surprised if they were here and not lending their support to Arloest, Lissou, and whoever else is still here. (Amber didn't stick around, huh?)

Sometimes I pretend to be a girl online, and I use the name Allison when I do... I wonder if that was me... but I don't think I've ever pretended to be an actress.
That pic is from 1997 (I was 16 or 17 at the time) and has somewhat of an interesting story behind it. My high school computer science class took a field trip to some computer café in Cambridge, and besides all of the video games and THIS NEAT NEW THING CALLED THE INTARWEBS™, they had this service where they'd take your picture and print it on just about anything, for a price. You could get it on a mug, a t-shirt, a mousepad, etc... I got it on a mousepad, and gave it to my then-girlfriend (long-distance relationship), as a present. But instead of using it as, you know, a mousepad, she used it as a cuddly toy and would like sleep with it at night.
AAAH! I did, didn't I? Well, thanks then.Oh, and Chris (Doc Sigma) asked me to post this pic of him several pages back... I will now.
