well you would have to wait on any system you get because new systems usually have bugs....*points to xbox360(everything) and the origional ps2 disk reader* actually my ps1 still works and its one of the first ones out XD

but my old ps2 when its reader went south...i gave it to a friend and popped in a memory card saying ya it reads XD

BURNED.

I got a new PS2 recently. I couldn't wait till PS3 to play my new games, especially KH2. I got a gamecube last christmas. I never wanted an XboX, cause it had no games that I wanted. Unfortunatly I recently found out that there is a game of Eragon comming out for 360 when the movie is released. I'll have to steal my neighbor's.

It's true that we can't rightly fire up the system and declare, "It's Revolution time!" On the other hand, we have an excuse to play well into the Wii hours.

On the other hand, you had people at E3 queuing for hours for a bit of a wii.

Jay voted for RGS due to not knowing which, if any, Jay will buy. When they all come out and reviews of games and controllers start pouring out, Jay'll start paying more than the slightest bit of attention.

ya wii is kinda a bad name. i like the code name (revolution) more

Perhaps Nintendo didn't want to have a "Revolution" competing against a "360", especially right after having a "GCube" competing against an "XBox".

BTW Jay likes the new name. Wheeeeee! Did some one do that to Jay's avatar or did the board do something weird again?

I had two PS2s. One given as a gift, the other bought. For five dollars. The previous owners kept getting the "Disc read error" thing and was planning on buying a new slim PS2 later that year, when they were released. I offered to take it off their hands, and for five dollars they agreed. I take it home, open the cover, open the disc drive, and wipe off the lens with a cotton swab. Putting all the covers back on, I turn it on and it worked (and still works) fine. I offered to return it to them for five dollars. They declined, so I traded it to another friend for a Gamecube.

$500 for a PS3

Holy macaroni, that's a large bit outta Jay's range for a video game thing. Jay also has to buy a new display if the console doesn't have a VGA connector since this old 'tube needs to go; it hurts Jay's head to turn it on for some reason. A decent 16:9 LCD from a non-slave-labour country seems to cost about $600 last Jay checked so Jay'd might as well upgrade this PC to gaming specs and buy the upcoming Unreal Tournament... (no Windows, so choices are easy

)

No, they're just pretty dumb kids. They didn't want it anymore because their parents were going to buy them the slim PS2 for Christmas, no matter that their parents would save around $200 if they just bought the old one back.

'Course then, when Christmas came 'round, all the stores around here were sold out of the slim PS2. It wasn't until four months later they finally got the thing.

That's cus there're no furry games for it. ^_^
No, really. None of the games for Xbox have appealed to me. all shooters and MMORPGS. The key focus is online play and sports. That's just not my game. I like Crash, Spyro, Klonoa, Dark Cloud, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Zelda. These are the main games that I look forward to.

I'd like to take a moment to say that Dark Cloud (1 and 2) Is one of the best games ever. Especialy the characters. Great gameplay and story, wonderful music, and the bunny-looking guys were soooooooo cute!

I like the Extreme sports games myself, so I got a 360 and got Tony Hawk's American wasteland and Need for Speed: Most Wanted for it.

Wasn't Psychonauts originally for XBox? I've beaten the computer version and it is hilarious. Maybe, just maybe, there's something good on an XBox.
