*cracks fingers*

Ok, non rock.

Jurassic 5
Dead Prez
Squarepusher
Aphex Twin
The Postal Service
Kid Koala
Harry Gregson-Williams
X-ecutioners
Beastie Boys
Fatboy Slim
RJD2
Second Thought (granted, he's a mate, but whatever)
Boards Of Canada
Chemical Brothers
Prodigy

I could go on, but can't be arsed.

And I'd also like to point out that the country and folk bands I listed wouldn't really count as rock.

Ignore me, I do music at Uni and have to classify everything ever written :D

Jack: Don't worry, I listen to pre-WW2 music too. My faves are Leadbelly, Blind Blake, Woody Guthrie, and Scott Joplin.

I'm sure Woody Guthrie, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and Dolly Parton are turning in their graves.

Wait...is Parton dead?

Nope, she's not. Still alive and I believe she's still making music.

Johnny Cash is pretty much the only country I'll listen to now.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I know you and Zaaphod listen to it sometimes. I didn't mean that I listened ONLY to music from that era. I listen to what I like and find good and it just so happens I like some pre-war blues and folk.

No offense but, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams (that's all I know from Country).

My mother wrote the poem which the song:
In America~ by Charlie Daniels
Is based on.

The proof is in the line:
Just go and lay your hand on a P0ittsburgh Steelers fan.
