There's a theory that this may be due to the effect of that massive earthquake that triggered the Tsunami. It did, after all move the earth's axis significantly. The Florida hurricanes were rather like a boxing match to me.<br><br>After coming through the first and escaping back to the UK, it was like watching someone trying to floor the state.<br><br>One! I remember that my grandparents didn't want to get stuck in the traffic leaving Florida, so they toughed the whole thing out (and were struck by #2 and #4). Fortunately, they survived relatively unharmed.
