Ever wonder what it's like to draw on acid?

What, me do drugs! Never. Or at least not yet with no plans in the near future.<br><br>edit: Actually, i think this needs clearing upon reading it. I haven't done drugs, nor will in the near future but as with most things your feelings change and events may force you to certain acts you wouldn't have done before.

Weed makes some fun songs, listen to anything by Steppenwolf, but especially the songs "Don't Step on the Grass, Sam", "Magic Carpet Ride", and "Monster/Suicide/America". Good stuff <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I think Punky's Dialemma might qualify, by Simon and Garfunkel. It seems a bit...odd. <br>"I wish I was an English muffin"<br>Do you now? Do you really?

Look at the cover of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." Those guys must have been on <i>something....</i> <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--><br>

Hey, while drugs are bad, drug music can be awesome. Look at Pink Floyd.

Drug influenced music can certainly be good. I dunno about Simon and Garfunkel but 'I am the Walrus' was voted one of the best song lyrics a few years back and that was definitely under the influence.<br><br>Puff the Magic Dragon, Rainy Day Women, Golden Brown, all supposedly songs about drugs but they're good songs. And of course let's not forget <u>L</u>ucy in the <u>S</u>ky with <u>D</u>iamonds

Not sure if it's the same one, but Mark Chestnutt did a song with Merle Haggard called "Rainy Day Woman" several years ago. On the other paw, Mark Chestnutt is notorious for doing far more covers/remakes than original tunes, so I'm curious to know what song you're talking about.

I think the whole Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is just a whole silly rumour. The song was based off a poster John Lennon saw.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
