If by "went without a hitch" you mean "sucked", then yeah, it totally went without a hitch.

In defiance of the laws of physics, it went without a hitch AND blowed.

At my anime club today the president announced we were going to be watching Bible Black (wikipedia it if you don't know). Shame that only a few people got it.
