Eh. I don't find the comic bad, just...not my taste I suppose. The art is pretty damn good (obviously) and som e of the jokes make me chuckle; but overall there is a, I dunno how to put it, light fluffiness about it. It works well for the type of comic strip it is, just not something I would read. O:
the 'light fluffiness' about it might have to do with the fact that it's a family-friendly strip. Just a thought.
[00:34:00] <Dermy> I do love to manipulate the standard rules of language for opportunistic effect
[00:34:06] <Dermy> Like a grammar hyena, I am
[00:34:16] <Dermy> Munching on the tasty entrails of tradition

[22:26:20] <MuffinSticks> I'm a chocolate muffin with white ears and a striped black and red tail
[22:26:35] <MuffinSticks> And exactly 6 chips

My DA account, for those who care enough to look/click/etc.
And my FA account as well!

Well I certianly did not mean it as in insult. I understand that it is family-friendly. O:

oh, I know. I was just giving a reason as to why it might've felt that way. I don't think it's insulting to say that, as it's merely a feeling you're getting.

I guess I am just used to the mildly to extremely offensive webcomics. X:

That's why I like having a good mix of the types. family friendly to offensive to inbetween (and some with a good amount of language, but not really offensive, as well as with a lot of emotion or action)

Well, I just finished my end of the swap with Roo, so I should have time to think up something for D&C.

Crass damn it. I was going to do a gag with George looking at a closed door, some comic sounds going on behind it and George thinking "It's not worth missing Buffy for whatever's going on in there"

Then I went and completely hosed up the door and discovered that I didn't have a rubber/eraser. So enjoy the failed attempt.

I also do not have a ruler. I really am dreadfully unprepared for artistic endeavors.

Talent would be an assistance to the cause too, when I think about it.

Attempt #2 - Dandy as the "Smooth Criminal" of when Michael Jackson was the coolest thing in music.

Another dismal, dismal failure. Since I don't have the money to commission someone to do a guest strip and because that would be utterly pathetic, I officially give up.

But at least I tried, dammit.

Do or do not, there is no try >:@

A quote that I always thought sucked.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Just for reference, that'd be a quotation, since that's the noun form. Quote is the verb form.

I like to do and not do. Aka - trying and failing miserably.
