All the same, he gained that power by oppressing people with the SA and essentially terrorizing the populace and convincing them that the Jews would be their downfall. He did help the economy, but it's not like he was a nice guy up until a certain point, I mean, he wrote Mein Kampf long before coming to power.

Anyway, comparing Bush to Hitler is an extreme stretch, but I do see some similarity in the way they seem to incite fear that benefits them, but that method isn't unique to the two of them.
