Of course, Canada didn't gain its independence via war, so the fireworks don't hold quite the same meaning, do they?

that's implyin that americans light fireworks because of our revolutionary war. From what I know of americans, we light them because it's fireworks.

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

I celebrated Canada Day by making fun of Pat Sajak.

Yes.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Hooray! I will have to give you all of my enthusiastic points because I am not a Canadian citizen, so I can't celebrate it.
Nonsense! Javs was able to, and he's not a Canadian citizen.

There's a fireworks show infront of my house every year so I watched from my balcony. It was good.

Happy Canada Day all! :D :D :D :D :D

No fireworks for me. :( Consumer fireworks are illegal here except for one city, which allows them on Halloween.

By the time you tell me that, Canada Day is already over!

Also, I think hockey should not be played in the American south and west because we really can't play hockey here for geographic reasons. Plus, due to that fact, people don't really know what the game is about or how to play it.

So my suggestion is for the NHL to move teams like Dallas, Phoenix, Nashville, Atlanta, Florida teams, and California teams and move them to places that really care for hockey like Canada, the Northeast, and the Midwest. Let an underappreciated sport like soccer(futbol) move into these regions.

That is just my humble opinion.

The irony here? Dallas used to be in Minnesota, Phoenix moved from Winnipeg, Nashville is moving to Kansas City (if the rumours about Balsillie losing the bid to those other guys pans out, if he wins it, expect them to move to Hamilton), and the Thrashers are playing in the former home city of the Calgary Flames.

Oh, and there are already soccer teams in Dallas, LA, Kansas City, Denver, and Houston.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

Also RK9, don't forget the Carolina Hurricanes moving from Hartford. They were quite a hockey town. And I still say Colorado will never be the hockey town Quebec City is...they SELL OUT their NHL SIZED building for MINOR HOCKEY to this day!
