If technology suddenly started working for a change, it'd cause a rip in the fabric of time and space, sucking in all our coffee, tea, coca cola and red bull supplies, leaving us energy-less and open to an attack from the cockroaches of soviet russia! Cause in soviet Russia you do not burn cockroach, cockroach burns YOU!

Or atleast, that's what my goldfish says...
Caffiene pills for the win!

Shame on anyone who doesn't get the reference. It was only, like, the bloodiest battle in the history of everything. :(

I think people need to look at technology in a new way. Maybe it is just that things work for me, but when they don't I fix them. You need to quit looking at technology as something you idly use and instead something you control and command. If it does not work there is a reason, find it, fix it. Technology is not out to get people, in fact it is the opposite. It is nothing but a servant. It only does what it can and is told to do. It does not think on its own, it does not have any mysterys. It just does what it is told to do. If it is doing something unexpected it is still doing what it is told to do, and you just need to figure out why you were not expecting it and then fix the tool so it does what you need it to do.
cheers.....

There's a hole in that theory, My laptop stopped reading CD's so I told it to try again, and it wouldn't, so then I commanded it to fix the problem, and it shouted at me! So then I asked it to make me a sammich, and it linked me to a subway website!

And my laptop suddenly turns on in the middle of the night, and then shuts down again!

It's evil I tells ya! EVIL!

Well, not even close if you count in some ancient battles, but the opening day is still the single worst loss of military life suffered on a single day by any armed force in the 20th century.

But if you count the battle as a whole then technically Stalingrad has more...well, "death".

Ah, WW1...the only war in the 20C that I can think of where more of the victors died in combat than the losers.

Yeah, I was going to mention Stalingrad...

Dieppe wasn't all that perfect either, but it wasn't nearly as bloody as the Somme.

In terms of killing large quantities of people it was super effective.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Does laughing out loud for one minute at Bocaj's post make me a terrible person?
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
