I think I picked up a link from DCS somewhere to "making your own comic strip" guid. That was quite funny. And Photoshop Phriday can be alright. I don't really go on the rest of it because it doesn't interest me.
The end is nigh!

Everything from the lingo to the way they describe it is a direct parody of the furry fandom. Personally, I think the whole site is crap, but whatever floats your boat.

Actually, it's poking fun at all fandom-play. Everyone does. Strangely superheros are the one that is considered "normal" of them in the US.

Anyways, the old assosiation between such fandom play and sexual fetishes has been an old stereotype. It actually orriginates from Superhero idolism, back in the 60s in some psuedo-scientific document about "Comic book syndrome" I've seen documentation on it, it's the biggest load of bullshit I've seen.

Most of them have basis in reality, though. There has been a fetish about assosiating unusual fantisies of any type with sexuality. This is a common thing, and not too unusual if you generalize it to all unusual fandoms, instead of each one individually.

I was going to give examples, but I think it might be inappropriate. However, I would note that Furries have taken an unusual ammount of flack on the topic because of several Japanese porn companies using anthromorphic animated characters to get around Japan's porn laws in the late 70s.

It's for lame idiots who are depressed and get laughs off people worse/different from them.

That artical seems to be more making fun of those who make fun of those that are different. It's rather unusual concept. I generally don't approve of it either. I think people who make fun of things they don't like should be ignored, not returned with counter-satire.

Anami: Sex with a giant, black scorpion seems fun.

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

It is funny.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

Something weful can have god reviews on some things, but seem to be obsessed with Hentai. They do have a selection of old FPS maps that were considered the worst ever created, and are really god for laughs whe played with the right amount of people.

And as for them making fun of furry, many paces do it. I'm generally not even phased much by those things anymore, though you will get an odd look from me from time to time while mentioning something like that.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

I noticed they have a lot of screenshots of forums on there. But I'm pretty sure this place is immune since we're a LOT more intelligent here than the people they quote.

Insane, maybe, but intelligent.
