I haven't been keeping up on my Sam & Max news as well as I should have, but Telltale Games has reached an agreement with Steve Purcell to take Sam & Max forward into the 21st century with a series of new releases. This agreement is wide ranging, so you will likely see content in expected (interactive PC game in 2006) and un-expected places.

http://www.telltalegames.com/sam_and_ma ... r>
They also have snazzy Sam & Max shirts and prints for sale, along with an interactive web comic that they update from time to time! Check it out!

you'll find here. Someone who'll go all the way, who'll protect
you no matter what. Don't lose hope."

I'd rather have another Monkey Island.
Killin' the first born of lyrical Yul Brynners.

I'm still waiting for them to bring back The Tick, but the live action show killed all of my hopes.
