Hokay, as some of you know, I draw an amature cartoon. At the moment, my only outlet for said cartoon is Deviant Art (which truth be told, is not the best for the job)

I have a domain lined up (not paid for yet, but lined up) but I need a decent low-cost host. Prefferably one without pop-up adds.

Having no experience of the Internet other than cartoons, forums, games, and porn, I think it'd be best to ask for help from someone hither rather than stuff it up and end up losing money.

Anyone?

Sepwich is a good host site, but after their recent downsizing I'm not sure, but give 'em a try. http://www.sepwich.com
I'm here, you just can't see me!

Triggerpoint is my not so new webcomic, and currently under heavy work before it resurfaces.

I recommend iPowerWeb, that's who I use. They're one of the cheapest companies that don't suck, and they're relatively stable. Go to www.ipowerweb.com

I think I can still recommend StaticHost. They've never given me trouble (at least as far as hosting, there were a few things that went wrong but they were more or less my fault), and the staff has been very quick to respond to my desperate-n00b cries for help. They used to offer free hosting with no ads, which is the service I still have, but it seems to be gone now. But their prices are still pretty amazing, if my knowledge of pound-to-dollar conversions is correct.
