I thought of a product that might go into a catalog: a watch or clock where the hands are the tails of a kitsune (or keaton, for those who prefer it Anglicized). So I ask you, (1) does such a thing already exist, and (2) if not, do you think there's enough of a market for it?

Well, I couldn't find any clock like this (not even on google ). And I know nothing about the sale of clocks, but if you were very, very lucky you might be able to sell a few thousand. Around 0-200 is probably more realistic. But I'm just guessing, so I have no idea.

Otaku would probably snap it up if it were tied to a particular anime.

Isn't there a kitsune in Inuyasha?

Well if he used a kitsune from a particular anime then he would have to pay liscencing. If he just used a generic run of the mill kitsune (I think thats an oxymoron ) then you won't have to pay anything except the money to pay for the making of this clock. And yes otaku would probably buy it. And I just realized the meaning of Otakon .

You guy say "he" like I'd be the one making the clock. I just thought I'd offer the idea to a manufacturer if there was enough interest. Maybe Sega would have enough for a Tails watch.

The clock idea would be extremely good. I might just buy one.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otaku

After reading that I realized why anime freaks hate furries so much. They're cut from the same cloth.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.
