Another trick may be to use IE or Mozilla once AOL is connected. That was a trick I used to use in my internet limited days on the island in Alaska. The AOL program is not great for browsing, but you can use the network connection for other programs.

Erm, just a thought, but try using <a href='http://www.acidchat.net/?node=login' target='_blank'>Acidchat.net's client</a>. Of course, you'll have to put in definecynical for the room name.<br><br>You might also try using diffferent servers. main.acidchat.net and manc.acidchat.net are probably the ones you want. Main seems to work better than manc, but perhaps that's just me.
