I still like the original show (Satam, anyway). Have it all on dvd. It obviously has a lot of 90's kids cartoon cornyness and a couple bad running jokes, but I saw past it as a Sonic fan.

The comics were also good in the same way, though I didn't really buy all too many of them. They were still interesting though, even if I wasn't following a story. As soon as they started adapting any game with the comic post Sonic Adventure, it just started to suck more and more.
