From much experience observing the video game industry, I can say I believe that Spore is either going to become a massive hit and absoulutely fly off the shelves, or it's going to be a huge flop and leave a bad taste in many people's mouths who waited so long.

I'm probably not going to get Spore immidiately though. I was waiting for ArmA for months and when it came out I didn't get it till a month later.
