After a trip to Pittsbugh CLO And seeing 42nd Street, I wanted to know how many of us love the theater as much as I do! I love the stage and I love music. I would LIVE at an opera house if I could! So how much of a culture freak are you?

Live theatre? Brilliant!

I, myself, went to see "A Funny Thing On the Way to the Forum" some days ago, and now would like to buy the soundtrack.

This falls under one of those things I do indeed enjoy, just hardly ever actually do. I don't even go once a year really. It's probably a case of either 1) Thinking there's not enough time, or 2) Not knowing what's worth seeing.

I've been there once when I was about 10 or 11, it was at the park in the city, I saw Julius Caesar, and fell asleep and woke up when he was dieing  . I wasn't quite old enough to appreciate it, but it was fun none the less.

I've never been a fan of opera, but if it's musical comedy you want that's not opera based, then Bill Bailey is bloody funny too :wag:

I've seen three stage plays, and I slept through most of them.

The first play I ever saw was that Nutcracker Sweet-thing (I was six) and I got sick like a guppy swimming in radioactive Coke. I think that has spoiled my enjoyment of stage plays ever since.

Good thing there's movie adaptions.

Never been, actually.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I pretty much love the theater, but my main problem is the (lack of) money. I usually end up going to the ones with free admission.

I've been to a theater workshop one time, and we performed a play on our last day. It went rather well, so I decided I might try auditioning for another play when I have the time.

And The Rocky Horror Picture Show is probably a must see. Which I haven't actually seen. (well, I've seen the movie, never seen the stage show)

Return to the Forbidden Planet is good, and I have seen.
