My tree:
I have a tree, it is just for me,
It sits on a hill, near the sea,
I sit under it, all the day long,
Singing it a happy, lovely song.
My tree likes it when I am there,
It really feels, it truly cares.
For one day I could not make it,
My friends declared the tree was naked!
So I went to see my good tree,
And when I go there suddenly,
I noticed not a single leaf!
I stared with awe and unbelief!
"Why are you," I asked my tree,
"Looking less that merrily?"
Do you know what it said Jack?
"Yes! I am glad you're back!"
At that moment the wind did stir.
All around me there was a blur!
I looked, and beheld at a glance,
The wind put leaves back on the branch.
So my special tree and I,
Have a bond, and I will not lie;
I hope that someday you may see my tree,
And watch in awe, and mystery.
I have a tree, it is just for me,
It sits on a hill, near the sea,
I sit under it, all the day long,
Singing it a happy, lovely song.
